Crisi RIM, in futuro potrebbe arrivare un Blackberry Android?
Dalle stelle alle stalle. RIM, compagnia canadese produttrice di Blackberry ed un tempo uno dei marchi più floridi nel panorama mobile (specialmente nel settore business) sta attraversando una grossa crisi finanziaria, (di questi giorni l’annuncio di perdite per 518 milioni di dollari e del posticipo del nuovo Blackberry 10), ma potrebbe trovare nuova linfa rivolgendosi al mondo Android.
Ma per RIM sono aperte anche le porte del sistema operativo mobile più diffuso al Mondo: Matias Duarte, capo-design di Google, in un’intervista all’emittente americana ABC si è detto favorevole ad un ingresso di RIM nel mondo Android, dichiarandosi, con un atteggiamento ben poco aziendalista, anche fan delle tastiere fisiche
- I am still a huge fan of hardware keyboards. Many of the products I have worked on in the past have had them. I think there is a place for them — it’s all about choice and different types of devices.If RIM wanted to work on Android devices, I would really welcome that. They clearly make great physical keyboards.
